Kelso Folk Music
The Kelso Folk & Live Music Club hold their weekly session at The Cobbles Inn on Friday nights from 9pm in the downstairs restaurant towards the end of evening dining. The club is formed by an electric mix of people with acoustic guitarists forming the mainstay but including musicians who play the electronic small pipes and the piano, the accordion, melodeon, five-string banjo, flute, fiddle, whistle, bouzouki, mandolin, harmonica, hand percussion, ukulele-banjo, acoustic bass and many other instruments.
Friday Night Sessions
The Friday night sessions tend to go on into the early hours of Saturday morning. Getting yourself home, or to bed at the end of the night is not difficult as taxis leaves from a few yards outside the pub door and being located in the centre of Kelso there are many B&B's and Guesthouses within five minutes walk.
