Kelso In The Scottish Borders
The Cobbles Inn is located in the heart of the market town of Kelso (known locally as Kelsae), in the Scottish Borders area of Scotland. Kelso is situated at the confluence of the rivers Tweed and Teviot and is renowned for the excellent salmon fishing.
Kelso has a population of approximately 7,000; it is regarded as one of the most charming and quaint towns in the area with its cobbled streets, elegant Georgian buildings and French style cobbled market square.

Kelso is home to two 18-hole golf-courses, an ice rink, rugby, cricket and football clubs, as well as a superb National Hunt (jumping) horse racing track, one of the oldest and friendliest in the UK.

Kelso's other main tourist attractions are the ruined Kelso Abbey and Floors Castle, a William Adam designed house completed in 1726.
